Community data and privacy

This explains the Academy controls. Read it alongside the Kivuly privacy policy and terms.

Choose what you share

Your profile starts private. Making it public shares your username, display name, bio, optional website link and join date. Publishing a discussion or comment makes its text and your display name public, even if your profile is private.

Preview media

Uploading requires selecting a file, reviewing it and confirming permission to share. The app does not silently upload projects, prompts, API keys or local paths. Details visible or audible in a video remain part of that video, so review them carefully.

Public videos appear in Explore. Unlisted videos are accessible to anyone with the link and can be forwarded. Private videos are accessible to the owner and authorized moderators. Never use an unlisted link for confidential work.

Learning and account information

Saved lesson progress and bookmarks belong to your account and are private. Public community responses do not include account email addresses, billing identifiers, subscription records or local file locations.

Delete or hide content

Manage your profile, posts and comments in profile settings. Manage videos on the sharing page. Hiding a profile does not delete your public discussions. Deleting the community profile removes those discussions and reactions without changing your Studio account or subscription.

A hidden username reservation and necessary moderation records are retained to prevent impersonation and abuse. Failed media deletion remains hidden and may require a retry. Previously downloaded copies cannot be recalled. The final backup and moderation-record retention schedule must be confirmed before public launch.

Reports and appeals

Moderators can review reported content, hide or remove it, and suspend posting. Reasons for actions appear in your private moderation notices. For copyright, privacy, consent or appeal requests, contact support. Include the relevant URL, without passwords or secrets.
